13. System environment design and requirements
In order to ensure the smooth progress of the project and protect the normal operation of the system equipment, the installation site of the equipment must meet the following environmental conditions:
1. Installation requirements
1) The installation ground is required to be flat and strong, with strong bearing capacity and no deformation.
2) The base is generally in direct contact with the anti-static floor to ensure that the ground does not deform under long-term load-bearing force.
2. Operation console (room) decoration and equipment location requirements
1) The position of the operation control computer should be directly opposite to the splicing screen, and the operator is required to see the operation of the splicing screen conveniently and intuitively. If there is a specially partitioned operation control room, there should be transparent glass between the operation control room and the large-screen display room to facilitate the operator's viewing.
2). The control computer should be located as far as possible in the direction directly opposite to the splicing screen, and at a suitable distance from the splicing screen to facilitate debugging, color adjustment and other operations.
3). The image controller should be placed in the channel beside or behind the screen wall (in the cabinet), and should be as close as possible to the interface of the projection box to reduce the VGA wiring distance.
3. Light requirements
1). It is recommended to use a built-in downlight for lighting. The light should not be directly aimed at the direction of the screen. Keep it 3 meters away from the screen to avoid affecting the projection effect.
2). If the windows of the control room are large, avoid direct sunlight and use curtains to block the light. The curtains should be dark.
4. Requirement for wiring and trunking
1) The weak current cables (VGA cable, video, network, serial port, mouse keyboard extension cable, etc.) should be routed separately from the strong current cables to avoid signal interference. If you use a cable trough, you cannot share a cable trough, and you should separate the cables into different troughs.
2). If it is a fixed ground such as floor tiles, composite wood floors, etc., it is required to have a wiring groove between the signal source (computer VGA signal, video signal) and the control computer to the graphics controller (or projector interface). The shorter the line distance is, the better.
3). If it is an antistatic floor, a hole should be opened at the cable exit, leaving the cable exit.
5. Air conditioning requirements
1). There must be good temperature control and heat dissipation measures in the maintenance channel behind the video wall. If it is a central air conditioner, there should be an air-conditioning inlet and outlet. If there is no central air-conditioning, a special air conditioner should be installed. The power of the air conditioner depends on the scale of the large screen.
2) The temperature in the maintenance channel and the temperature in the video wall control room should be controllable and basically the same.
6. Power supply
Considering that the system may encounter a special situation, the current impact will occur when the breakpoint is re-energized, the splicing unit itself has a power protection design to ensure the normal and safe operation of the equipment.
1). The power supply of the system is AC 220V ±5%; use a three-eye socket with a protective grounding wire; the number of sockets is related to the number of splicing screens.
2). The splicing system, video wall controller and control PC require power supply in the same phase.
3). The power supply voltage should be stable and reliable, especially to prevent power on immediately after a power failure. Therefore, in principle, the power supply of the splicing system must be supplied by the corresponding power UPS.
4). The system equipment must have a good grounding, the grounding resistance is less than 2Ω, to ensure that the equipment will not be damaged when encountering special conditions such as lightning strikes.
7. System environment
1). The back of the splicing system is the maintenance channel, the width of the maintenance channel is generally not less than 0.60 meters
2). The large screen room requires better temperature and humidity control. The working environment temperature is 23℃±5℃, and the relative humidity is 20%-80%. There must be air conditioning behind the splicing.
3). The temperature and humidity of the air conditioner before and after the video wall should be adjusted to the same scale to ensure the heat dissipation of the video wall and the flatness of the video wall.
4). The video wall room must be kept clean and dust-proof.
